How to Get Along with Your Gyrator's Bearings

Years of trouble-free service from your VIBROSCREEN's gyrator bearings can be attained if you carefully follow a few procedures:

1. Use Kason standard Hi-load grease on 1/3, 1/2 and 1 HP gyrator bearings to obtain long service life from them.
2. Use only Kason Gold Grease on the 2 HP and 3 HP gyrator bearings because years of experience show that longer service life can be expected with it.
3. If any other lubricant has been used (including other Kason greases) on Kason gyrator bearings, flush it, clean thoroughly and repack the bearing with Kason Gold Grease.
4. After servicing a bearing, the gyrator should be allowed to rotate to its side with no eccentrics and run for 24 hours. This results in thorough and uniform lubrication of the entire bearing as well as adequate run-in of the parts.
5. Since distortion is the main cause of short bearing life, bolts should be carefully torqued on with uniform force following standard mechanical procedures.
