Circular fluid bed dryers/coolers/moisturizers win awards for innovation

Kason's circular fluid bed series of dryers, coolers and moisturizers are now "two-for-two" in design competitions recently conducted by leading publications in the powder and chemical industries. The first is an "Innovation in Powder/Bulk Solids Technology" award received from Powder/Bulk Solids magazine, and most recently a "Breakthrough Product of the Year" award from Processing magazine.
 

Kason plant ISO 9001 certified

Kason Corporation has received ISO 9001 quality system certification for its Millburn, NJ, manufacturing plant, it was announced by Vice President of Manufacturing Christopher Stone.

Certification was granted by KEMA Registered Quality, Inc., Chalfont, PA.

"Kason is the first major U.S. manufacturer of screening, drying, cooling and related process equipment to be ISO-certified, and received certification on its first attempt," according to Stone, adding "the system is expected to yield the highest attainable quality at lower cost through improved materials monitoring, vendor screening, information flow, personnel accountability and other measures."
