For Safety's Sake

Many fan designs incorporate a filter attachment, which cleans the incoming stream of air.

These filters, when installed, act as a guard in that they block access to the fan's rotating blades.

The power supply to the fan must be shut off, and then locked out before removing the filter. Should the filter be removed, it must be replaced before re-starting the fan.

A safety label is attached to the fan housing to remind operation and/or maintenance personnel to install the filter before operating the fan. Should this label become defaced or destroyed, please replace it using Kason part No. 044-20.
